Lead Regional Learning and Development
Salary: $107,864 - $121,276 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation)
The Learning and Development Team plays a pivotal role in driving the creation and execution of modern learning strategies, frameworks, policies, and programs to enhance CFA's capability.
The Core Learning Team delivers operational training across the Region and supports State-wide learning initiatives. As the Lead Regional Learning and Development (LRLD), you will collaborate with the Manager of Learning and Development to shape the regional learning strategy, ensuring CFA members are skilled to manage emergencies according to Victoria's Emergency Management Arrangements.
You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of Coordinators and Administrators to implement the regional learning plan, ensuring compliance with Australian Skills Quality Authority and Victorian Registration and Quality Authority standards to maintain RTO certification.
The role drives CFA's Regional and state-wide L&D strategy, overseeing training plans, systems, and team alignment with key initiatives. It provides expert advice, identifies improvement opportunities, and supports contemporary learning models. Key duties include building partnerships, standardising service delivery, preparing reports, and driving continuous improvement and transformation. Operational response duties are performed as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in training, education, and/or leadership are highly desirable.
* Certificate IV in Training and Education or equivalent.
* Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to obtain effective cooperation and contribution from stakeholders and develop and maintain effective relationships.
* Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, knowledge management, research, and outcome-based program design.
* Demonstrated experience developing and implementing evidence-based programs within a large volunteer organisation.
