We are now seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to work directly with our CEO. This role will initially be offered as maternity cover, however for the right person, it is a long-term opportunity to grow with the brand, contribute at a leadership level, and play a key part in the company's future.
Role title: Executive Assistant to the CEO
Responsibilities
* Partner closely with the CEO as her trusted confidant, providing seamless support and acting as her second brain.
* Proactively manage the CEO's calendar, inbox, travel, and priorities to ensure focus on high-value work.
* Support with project management across eCommerce, marketing, product launches, and brand initiatives.
* Represent the CEO in meetings when required, ensuring actions and follow-ups are delivered with clarity.
* Work closely with the leadership team to drive accountability, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Anticipate business needs and prepare the CEO with all information required for meetings, presentations, and strategic decisions.
* Assist with hands-on operational tasks such as scheduling emails, updating backend website content, or coordinating digital assets.
* Strengthen communication and alignment across the team, acting as a bridge between the CEO and wider business.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders including partners and external agencies.
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of work.
About You
* Experience: 5+ years as an EA or similar senior support role, ideally within a fast-paced eCommerce, retail, or digital brand environment.
* Leadership: Strong ability to hold others accountable, influence respectfully, and represent the CEO with professionalism.
* Business Acumen: Clear understanding of eCommerce operations, marketing, and brand-building.
* Can-Do Attitude: You thrive on learning new systems and tasks quickly, whether it's scheduling campaigns, supporting with backend updates, or tackling a new challenge head-on.
* Proactive & Organised: Always thinking two steps ahead and able to bring calm and structure to a fast-moving environment.
* Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the CEO in high-level settings.
* Tech-Savvy: Confident using digital tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Shopify familiarity is a plus).
* Long-Term Mindset: While this role begins as maternity cover, you are looking for stability, commitment, and an opportunity to grow within the business.
