About the role
The Administration Officer contributes to the effective operation and functioning of the Aged Psychiatry Service by providing front of house reception services to all persons attending the Aged Psychiatry Service, including receiving and directing persons and telephone calls, to ensure persons receive the required service in the most appropriate time frame. The position also provides administrative support to the staff working within the Aged Psychiatry Service. Other responsibilities include directing enquiries to the other Alfred Services operating within the same location.
About you
Essential
* Experience in public health settings and working with related agencies
* Experience in administrative functions and processes
* Understanding of medical terminology
* Strong computer/IT literacy
* Current influenza vaccination and Australian working rights
Desirable
* Experience in mental health or other health care services
