About Our Oncology Service
Our busy Oncology Unit at Mackay Base Hospital offers a dynamic and supportive environment for medical professionals to develop their skills and expertise in clinical research.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced oncologist or health professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth of our existing oncology service.
* The ideal candidate will possess a qualification from a registered tertiary institution, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and current annual practicing certificate, and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in Medical Oncology.
We provide inpatient ward rounds and daily outpatient clinical services including telehealth to regional hospitals. Our day unit is staffed by trained oncology nurses and pharmacists administering treatments five days per week.
