The Role
As a Forklift Operator / Dockhand, you'll be part of a high-performing team in our Meadowbrook AM Operations, ensuring freight moves safely and efficiently through our network.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Early AM shift – permanent full-time position
* Safely loading and unloading freight, including palletised and oversized items
* Handling general freight with care to ensure secure and damage-free transport
* Dockhand duties such as sorting, scanning, and staging freight for interstate and local distribution
* Following strict safety procedures and contributing to a zero-harm workplace
This is a hands-on freight handling role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Need
* A current and valid Forklift License
* Proven forklift experience – minimum 1 year preferred
* Freight handling experience in a transport, logistics, or warehouse environment
* Experience loading and unloading interstate road freight trailers (preferred)
* Ability to work efficiently in early AM operations and meet tight schedules
* A strong commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
Shift Details
* AM shift – early morning start, Monday to Friday
* Full-time permanent position
* Overtime available when required
