About the role:
As a Financial Accountant - Brand Pharma, you will play a key role in delivering finance outcomes across Arrotex. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Brand Partnership teams to ensure accurate reporting, invoicing, and audit readiness. This is a dynamic role with exposure across multiple areas of finance, offering the opportunity to influence processes, drive improvements, and support strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial results, journal entries, accruals, and detailed variance analysis against budget/forecast.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Complete all reconciliations within required deadlines, ensuring accuracy and supporting documentation.
- Brand Partnerships: Manage end-to-end finance processes for multiple brand partnerships, collaborating with Marketing and Brand teams to integrate agreements and oversee invoicing, claims, and collections.
- Wagner Partnership: Lead invoicing, rebate and reimbursement claims, and work with Supply Chain to ensure seamless processing and compliance.
- Reseller Invoicing: Oversee weekly wholesaler sales and purchase invoice generation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Audit Support: Assist the Finance Manager in compiling data for audits, respond to auditor queries, and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to finance processes, systems, and reporting to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Brand Partnerships, Marketing) to provide insights, challenge constructively, and deliver value.
- Collaboration & Agility: Work flexibly with colleagues, champion DBG/Arrotex values, and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven month-end experience.
- Demonstrated inventory management and supply chain finance exposure.
- Excellent Excel and MS Office 365 skills (pivot tables, data analysis, reconciliations).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Desirable:
- CPA or CA qualified (or working towards).
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Exposure to financial software such as Business Centra
