About Location
Aegis Parkview is a 79 bed facility situated on Drummond Street in Redcliffe. Drummond was a botanist and the four wings are named after native Australian comprises of extra service and dementia care wings. All rooms are single with a large ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The different wings all have their own lounge and dining areas with large individual courtyards. The facility is surrounded by well maintained Parkview has a theatre room with a large screen for movie days which is enjoyed by the residents.
About Duties
As an important part of the team you will be able to :
Provide Facility cleaning to a high Aged Care standard.
Use equipment and chemicals in accordance with training methods.
Provide a clean and homely environment for our residents.
Lead the cleaning team in a positive and safe manner.
Mentor and encourage the cleaning team.
Assist with the On-Boarding of new cleaning personnel.
Liaise between Facility Manager and the Cleaning Team.

About You
To be successful in this position you will :
Have extensive previous cleaning experience in a health care setting.
Be able to work within a team and independently.
Be proactive solution driven and reliable.
Have high attention to cleaning detail.
Knowledge of infection control principles
Have a high level of English communication skills both verbal and written.
Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
Previous experience in leading staff will see you excel in this role.
