About the Role
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will handle day‐to‐day invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliation of receivable balances. The role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit memos and receivable balances while serving as the primary customer liaison for invoicing and billing matters.
Responsibilities
* Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for assigned accounts.
* Ensure timely collection of monies due to Geotab.
* Complete write‐offs for assigned accounts in a timely manner.
* Calculate necessary credits due to reseller accounts and obtain approval before posting.
* Monitor and report deviations from credit standards.
* Verify pricing on invoices, accounting for concessions.
* Serve as the customer liaison for invoicing, billing, activations, terminations, support tickets and order inquiries.
* Recommend improvements to invoicing and collection procedures.
* Perform additional month‐end tasks to ensure timely invoicing of all accounts.
* Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
* Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance or collections role.
* General understanding of computerized accounting systems; knowledge of DynamicsAXERP is an asset.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with ability to make well‐judged decisions.
* Technical proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and MicrosoftExcel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
* RMA experience is an asset.
