With ongoing subdivision projects across Townsville, we are seeking experienced Civil Pipelayers and Plant Operators to join our local crews.
The Roles
Civil Pipelayers
You will be involved in the installation of civil water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure across residential subdivision projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installation of water, sewer, and stormwater pipelines
* Trenching, backfilling, and working to levels and grade
* Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
* Working safely around plant and within excavation environments
* Maintaining quality workmanship and site housekeeping
Plant Operators
You will operate a range of civil construction plant on subdivision projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating plant such as excavators, rollers, loaders, and skid steers
* Trenching and detailed works around services
* Conducting daily pre-starts and basic plant maintenance
* Working to site plans and directions from supervisors
* Supporting pipelaying and general civil works as required
About You
Civil Pipelayers:
* Proven experience in civil subdivision and pipeline works
* Ability to use levels and work accurately to grade
* Strong understanding of safe trenching practices
Plant Operators:
* Current RII competencies for relevant plant
* Experience in subdivision or detailed civil works
* Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
For both roles:
* Construction White Card
* Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
* Strong focus on safety and quality
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
