We have an exciting position for a Merchandise Assistant - Gold to join our Merchandising Team, reporting to the Group Category Buyer in our Support Office at Summer Hill. You will work alongside a supportive team and will be responsible for maintaining and updating databases and placing orders and working closely with internal and external stakeholders including supports and our retail stores.

Your role and responsibilities will consist but are not limited to:

- Picking stock for store replenishment
- Stock management e.g. samples
- Order placement and follow up
- Maintain and update databases
- Costing of invoices / Releasing invoices
- Compile and generate reports as required
- Marketing e.g. Catalogues & Ticket checks
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including: local and overseas suppliers, and stores
- Manage and assist with the daily and weekly Administrative tasks such as shipping, stock control, reporting and invoice reconciliation; and
- Assist with Ad hoc duties as required by the Category Manager

**Key competencies to succeed in the role include**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience as a Merchandise Assistant is desired but not essential
- Minimum 1 year experience in a retail environment is highly desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, including: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
