The Opportunity
As the Legal Practice Manager for our Wollongongbased Personal Injury and Abuse Law practice, you'll be a driving force behind Shine's success in New South Wales. Supported by the General Manager, you'll lead a high‑performing team dedicated to securing justice for our clients. Your leadership will guide our practitioners across a diverse portfolio of Personal Injury matters, including Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident and Public Liability, as well as deeply impactful Abuse Law claims.

* Champion growth initiatives and lead strategic outreach, while cultivating strong relationships with community and industry stakeholders.
* Actively support, coach and mentor your team of legal and legal support professionals within a values‑led environment.
* Provide operational oversight by developing and implementing case strategies, and optimising workflows and compliance across key case management processes.
* Maintain a caseload of complex personal injury matters.
* Effectively manage budgets, KPIs and overall branch financial performance.
* Cultivate strong relationships across Shine and the national leadership team to uphold a cohesive and motivated workforce.
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you'll have:
* Extensive experience as a personal injury litigation solicitor, with a current and unrestricted practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
* Experience managing or mentoring others, with the desire to grow and develop a thriving team.
* Strong commercial acumen and solid financial literacy.
* A strong understanding of relevant legislation and the ability to interpret legal documentation with confidence.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a genuine commitment to connecting with others and working collaboratively to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
* The passion, motivation and enthusiasm to contribute positively to our culture and ensure it remains a place where everyone can thrive.
* An innate ability to anticipate challenges, stay ahead of the curve and adapt with confidence.
