Your new role
This role is a temporary requirement for 8 weeks commencing 10/06/2025. So if you are looking for anything short-term, this will be your perfect opportunity.
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the payables functions to ensure the finance systems are efficient, accurate, and timely. Your duties will include:
* Daily AP processing tasks
* Invoicing
* Vendor statement reconciliations
* Credit card receipting
* Managing staff reimbursements
* Liaising with staff and creditors to resolve discrepancies.
* You will also support month-end and year-end processes and provide relief support to other finance officers.
What you'll need to succeed
* Understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination.
* Experience in accounts payable processing (minimum one year).
* Ability to work as part of a team in a cross-cultural environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Experience with computerised finance systems and Microsoft Office software.
