Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
As a key member of our Production Engineering team, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our boat manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient systems, processes, and machines that drive the production of high-quality products. They will work closely with the factory and engineering teams to identify opportunities to streamline manufacturing processes and workflows.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dimensional analysis, process-machinery, and manual jigs troubleshooting. They will also possess excellent tooling selection skills after conducting cost and life analysis. Additionally, they should have developed process manufacturing skills in Machining, Welding, and Plasma cutting.
We are offering a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. The position is based onsite at our Coomera manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop complex tooling and machinery from concept to delivery protocol
* Work with factory and engineering teams to develop understanding in dimensional analysis and process-machinery and manual jigs troubleshooting
* Tooling selection after cost and life analysis
* Develop process manufacturing skills in Machining, Welding, and Plasma cutting
* Collaborate with factory and engineering teams on all automated needs
