What you'll do:
* Proactively increase our long-term financial sustainability, value and impact through strategic partnerships, targeted business development, funding and grant management, exploring well aligned and innovative collaboration, growth and revenue opportunities.
* Create and own a Business Development, Partnerships and Philanthropy plan with a clear focus on identifying and building meaningful relationships, philanthropic investments, and delivering a funding pipeline including government grants, sponsorships, major gifts from high-net-worth donors, Will bequests, fund raising and private & corporate giving, trusts & foundations.
* Prepare compelling, evidence-based funding proposals, grant submissions, business cases and presentations that successfully advance our mission and plan.
* Create and maintain a database/CRM to manage and track funding opportunities, applications, wins, budgets, delivery, fulfilment of obligations, reporting and acquittals.
* Cultivate and grow strong positive relationships with government agencies, stakeholders, volunteers and the neurological community, fostering communication, collaboration, consumer involvement and advocacy efforts.
* Work with the CEO and marketing team to raise brand awareness, champion the promotion of Brain Health and a culture of community and philanthropy. Leverage marketing and events activities, biennial conference, campaigns and programs to support partner and donor giving, volunteering, growth and stewardship.
What you'll bring:
* Qualifications with minimum 5 years' success in business development, account management, grant writing, fundraising, philanthropy or related discipline.
* Passion and energy to grow our funding, resources and impact by building valuable relationships and partnerships for mutual benefit.
* Exceptional technical writing skills, commercial acumen and attention to detail, with demonstrated experience researching and preparing high quality, successful funding applications, grant submissions, presentations and reports.
* Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving ability to explore and pursue potential synergy, meaningful connections and funding opportunities.
* Effective networking, communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
* Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills to meet strict deadlines and KPIs.

We are also a trusted community neurological nursing and health navigation services provider delivering NeuroCare, NeuroKids and NeuFriends at no cost to the WA community through funding support from WA Department of Health, Telethon7 and generous corporate and private donors.
