Our client is a highly regarded Australian Investment Manager renowned for their deep fundamental bottom-up analysis and long history of strong returns. The firm are currently seeking to add a talented, passionate and commercially astute Analyst to their International Equities Investment team. This is a unique opportunity to surround yourself with a team of high-performing investment professionals in a leading firm in the investment industry.
As an Analyst in the team, you will be allocated a number of companies across a broad range of sectors, for which you will have responsibility for analysing and working closely with the firm's portfolio managers. Responsibilities will include analysing business structures, financials and business strategies to form a view on valuation and create investment cases.
The successful candidate will have:
* 2-5 years' experience within Investment Banking M&A teams or Equity Research, from a leading investment bank
* A demonstrable passion for long-term investing
* Highly detail oriented with strong financial modelling & financial analysis capabilities
* Excellent academics with a minimum Distinction in Finance or other relevant disciplines and ideally a CFA or post-graduate degree
