**Electrician Role**
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventative electrical maintenance on village infrastructure, including accommodation rooms, kitchen, laundries, water and sewer plants and distribution boards. They will also conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and asset condition, collaborate with other trades for coordinated maintenance efforts, ensure compliance with company safety policies and statutory regulations, contribute to a clean, safe, and productive work environment, and support emergency response activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform routine and preventative electrical maintenance on village infrastructure.
* Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and asset condition.
* Collaborate with other trades for coordinated maintenance efforts.

**Requirements:**
The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications, a QLD electrical licence, current CPR/LVR certification, and a manual driver's licence. Additional certifications such as Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, and Working at Heights are highly regarded. The ideal candidate will bring experience in their trade, preferably in remote or mining environments, and experience in maintaining laundry and commercial kitchen equipment is an advantage.
