The role
We are looking for two senior Product Managers to work on exciting initiatives for Up and Bendigo Bank. This is a rare opportunity to have a real impact on the lives of people, owning projects from idea to successful launch.
* Senior Product Manager (Up) – Bring your expertise to Australia’s highest‑rated banking app, shaping features like Groups, 2Up, and Up Home.
* Senior Product Manager (Connect) – Reinvent web and mobile banking for millions of Bendigo Bank customers, evangelising fast‑paced, iterative innovation.
What you’ll do
* Define requirements for a solution that users love.
* Provide insight and suggestions to steer the product roadmap and propose ambitious features.
* Communicate successfully within the project team and at multiple levels of management, building trust across the organisation.
* Document ROI or impact for decisions on actions, features, or prioritisation.
* Collaborate with the development team to facilitate implementation of prioritised features and enhancements.
* Identify and coordinate interdependencies among other programmes and products.
* Ensure product features comply with risk, compliance, and legal obligations.
* Develop and maintain timelines, ensuring delivery goals are understood and communicated.
* Gather inputs and feedback, suggesting improvements to our product development delivery processes and operational model.
* Present to senior leadership teams.
Qualifications
* In‑house experience designing and delivering end‑to‑end projects, with at least 5–7 years working with engineering teams.
* Experience in a triad model in fast‑moving environments such as startups or scale‑ups.
* Passion for pushing limits, breaking the status quo, and staying on the forefront of technology.
* Project delivery experience, including tracking progress and reporting metrics.
* Strategic product mindset, able to shift between long‑term strategy and tactical detail.
* Independence, able to work autonomously in ambiguous situations while knowing when to seek help.

We have a hybrid work culture where people can attend our office in Melbourne as much or as little as makes sense. We are currently only hiring in Melbourne (or adjacent areas) because we value in‑person collaboration at least a half‑dozen times per year.
