Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Data Management Specialist on a max term contract (maternity leave backfill) from July 2026 to April 2027 in support of the AH-64 Apache program. Program overviewThe AH-64 Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations. What you'll get to do * Be an integral part of the Apache capability. * Manage Technical Information (TI), data storage, data distribution and sharing. * Ensures registration and recording of all incoming TI and Reports. * Manage AHSPO technical mailboxes. * Manage AHSPO technical data libraries and registers. * Monitor the quality of data storage and records, and provide direction to engineering staff to resolve deficiencies. * Manage and process all specification and standards requests and orders. * Manage information record links between Objective Record Management System and EMERALD2. * Effectively interface with internal and external customers to support operation of the platform. Who we're looking for * A minimum of two-years' experience in a similar role, preferably with an engineering or defence industry. * Experience using Product Lifecycle Management tools or electronic document management systems. * Knowledge and understanding of data management standards and information protection standards. * Well-developed communication skills to work collaboratively to a high standard within a multi-disciplinary team. * Experience working in a Defence environment using Defence systems and tools. * Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements.
