Your opportunity
Are you passionate about helping students unlock their full potential? As a Learning Adviser in the Student Support and Success team, you’ll play a key role in empowering students to succeed academically and personally. You will provide tailored one-on-one support, lead small group sessions, and design innovative workshops and resources that make learning engaging and meaningful. Working in a collaborative, high-performing team, you’ll support students from diverse backgrounds, including regional, remote, non-English speaking, and students with disabilities.
You will make an impact by:
* Delivering personalized learning support and facilitating group sessions across a broad range of disciplines
* Designing engaging workshops, online tools, and unit-embedded initiatives to strengthen student learning outcomes and success
* Using learning analytics to identify student needs and target support effectively
* Supporting students with assessments, study strategies, and academic skills development
* Driving projects that enhance the student experience and introducing innovative solutions to improve learning support services
What you will bring

To succeed in this role, you will also need:
* A degree with relevant experience in education, learning support, or related discipline, postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
* Experience supporting diverse student cohorts, including postgraduate students, students with disabilities, non-English speaking backgrounds, and regional or remote learners
* Confidence working across disciplines, with strengths in areas such as written communication, numeracy, IT, critical thinking and/or problem-solving. Experience in hard sciences or technology discipline highly regarded
* Strong capability in developing and delivering workshops, online resources, and unit-embedded learning initiatives
* The ability to analyse learning needs, use data or learning analytics to inform support strategies, and contribute to measurable improvements in student outcomes
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, collaborate effectively, and adapt your approach to varied learning styles
* Initiative to contribute to projects, continuous improvement activities, and innovative service delivery models

Your opportunity is:
* Full-time, continuing (permanent)
* Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
* HEW Level 6. The base salary ranges from $95,961 - $105,250 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $123,143.
