What you'll be doing
Provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist Haematology services for optimal patient outcomes across multiple Network hospitals including Inpatient Services, Outpatient Clinics, Oncall and Consultancy as applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care. Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

Where you'll be working
Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral, Level 5 base hospital providing a wide range of health services to residents in Northern NSW. The successful applicant will also travel to Grafton Base Hospital for clinics. Lismore and other NNSWLHD Hospitals and facilities are located in an area also known as the Rainbow Region, with stunning attractions and diverse communities. The Richmond Region offers lifestyle options from relaxed coastal towns to hinterland areas.

Qualifications
* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Haematologist, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways
* Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Haematology at the role delineation of the service
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership
* Demonstrated effective clinical communication through information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
* Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
