About the role
FRS Security is seeking experienced Security Officers and Crowd Controllers to join our team and provide security services at major events and stadiums in the Geelong area. This is a casual position, allowing you to pick up shifts as needed to complement your existing work or lifestyle. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patrons, staff and facilities at high-profile events and venues.
What you'll be doing
* Controlling and directing the flow of crowds to prevent overcrowding or unsafe situations
* Responding to incidents and emergencies, providing first aid where necessary
* Enforcing venue policies and procedures to maintain order
* Reporting any issues or incidents to the relevant authorities and management
* Providing a high level of customer service to patrons
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a security or crowd control role, ideally in an event or stadium environment
* A current Security Officer and/or Crowd Controller licence
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patrons, staff and emergency services
* The ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
* Excellent observation and problem-solving skills
* A commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all
