Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Specialist needed for a reputable organization.
This role involves coordinating Workplace Health and Safety training and awareness programs, sourcing accredited external service providers, and delivering OHS programs to promote a safety culture. Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating WHS training and awareness programs
* Delivering OHS programs
* Undertaking regular workplace safety inspections and audits
* Maintaining a schedule of maintenance works required for buildings
* Identifying remedial works required through regular safety inspections
* Coordinating any workspace modifications and general repairs
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety and 3-5 years of experience in a related position. They must also possess intermediate computer literacy, excellent interpersonal skills, sound organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously on simultaneous projects.
Additional desirable criteria include experience in public speaking, group facilitation, and training, as well as an understanding of Carers issues and needs.
