Freight Operations Assistant
Our team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Process and Logistics Finance team as an Accounts Assistant.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact across our operations, working closely with external customers and teams to ensure freight transactions are processed accurately, contracts are executed correctly, and reporting is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process freight movements in line with contractual commitments
* Support revenue on-charging and payment processes
* Assist in monthly and ad hoc financial reporting and reconciliations
* Respond to information requests from customer service and internal stakeholders
* Build and nurture working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Contribute to business improvement initiatives across the team
Requirements:
* Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams
* A working knowledge of accounts, systems or transactional processes, and an interest in how things work
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* A curious mindset and strong attention to detail, with the initiative to identify issues and follow through with practical solutions
* A collaborative, team-focused mindset and a willingness to learn and grow
* Confidence using Excel, and an openness to learning new systems like SAP
