The Sterilisation Technician position:
We are seeking a Sterilisation Technician to join our North Ryde hospital. In this position you'll assist our team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and the best quality care to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills, deepen your knowledge, and be part of life-changing patient care.
This part-time position requires availability to work rotating shifts, including public holidays and peak periods. Growth into a full-time position may be considered.

What Your Day May Include:
* Operation of steam autoclaves, H2O2 and/or EtO sterilisers
* Decontamination, disinfection, and cleaning of surgical instruments and equipment
* Handling and disposal of infectious waste
* Function-testing surgical equipment
* Performing quality-assurance testing to ensure sterility
* Maintenance of sterile instrumentation inventory
Preferred Qualifications Include:
* Enrolled in Certificate III Sterilisation Services
* Experience in a veterinary setting (desirable)
