**Main Responsibilities**:
The Polestar **Commercial Manager** - **Retail** **Performance** will be responsible for optimizing the customer experience and achievement of Polestar's retail goals and retail growth plan in Australia. This role will also lead the development and implementation of Polestar retail campaigns and manage retail operations, including aligning with marketing team to drive traffic into retail locations and ensure exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint, including test drives and handovers.
**Retail Sales Strategy & Operations**:
- Drive required order run-rate performance cross the Retail Network
- Create Retail & Financial Service campaign proposals and budgets to drive order growth
- Reporting of all relevant retail operations KPI's
- Execute retail performance programs with our Retail Network to support achievement of retail performance KPI's
- Ensure that Customer Experience is exceptional across all customer touchpoints
- Lead management and reporting
- Work with retail partners to optimize retail performance. Report to Polestar management on Retail Partner performance, market insights and competitor analysis
- Liaise with the Planning and Order-to-Delivery team to ensure vehicle inventory and availability is being managed and monitored accordingly
- Maintain strong communication lines between Retail Partners, Customer Care and Customer Service teams, and external business partners
**People**:
- Lead, coach, inspire and train customer-facing retail teams at Polestar with in-depth knowledge and insights on all commercial operations and activities
- Lead Retail Partner relationships to support achievement of retail performance objectives
- Strong collaboration and coordination with internal and external teams
**Required Experience / Qualifications**:
You are self-driven, committed, with proven experience in sales and retail performance management in a luxury brand. Strong knowledge of commercial operations and a bachelor's degree (Business degree or equivalent is preferred).
- Must be passionate and enthusiastic about sustainability and electric vehicles
- Prior experience managing relationships with franchised retail locations / Investors / Business Partners
- Ability to manage a high-performing and diverse team
- Understanding of the automotive franchise legislation
- Financial services experience is a plus
- Strong business and financial acumen gleaned from account or automotive management
- Understand the needs of a premium Customer and the key drivers of exceptional experiences
- Ability to think strategically and work tactically
- Ability to work with and present to both Executive Teams, Retailer Principals and General Managers
- Drive and determination to work in an evolving, fast paced environment
This role will involve regular inter-state travel in Australia.
