The Role
This is a leadership position responsible for the end-to-end on-site delivery of commercial and multi-unit residential projects (typically $5m–$25m +).
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for site operations, subcontractor performance, safety, quality, and short-term programming. You will be the driving force behind productivity, culture and construction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all day-to-day site operations
* Supervise trades, subcontractors and site personnel
* Maintain strict WHS compliance and conduct structured safety inspections
* Drive quality assurance, inspections and defects management
* Coordinate and implement short-term programs and lookahead schedules
* Manage site logistics, materials, access and sequencing
* Monitor productivity and subcontractor performance
* Identify construction risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting
* Liaise professionally with clients, consultants and internal teams
* Build and maintain a high-performing, accountable site culture
