Overview
Senior Medical Educator (Western Australia) – part time (0.2-0.4 FTE), Fixed Term opportunities until January 2027. Western Australia location with WFH opportunities (commencing January 2026). Salary: $235k + super + ability to salary package up to $15,900 tax free for living expenses under the RACGP's health promotion charity status.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver high-quality general practice education, supporting registrars from entry to Fellowship. Reporting to the Regional Director of Training, provide regional portfolio leadership, mentor medical educators, oversee registrar case management, and strengthen local training delivery. Contribute to excellence in training, cultural safety, and workforce planning across the region.
* Lead and inspire a team of medical educators, fostering collaboration and innovation. Build and maintain strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, training sites, other stakeholders, and RACGP staff. Contribute to cultural safety, training site accreditation, supervisor support, and workforce planning.
Skills & Experience
* FRACGP (or equivalent) with current Australian specialist registration.
* Strong medical education expertise and organizational skills.
* Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and cultural safety in training.
