What you’ll do
As a Senior Structural Engineer you will:
* Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects;
* Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets;
* Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients;
* Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally;
* Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team;
* Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers;
* Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
About you
The successful candidate we are looking for will have:
* Bachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering);
* Typically 6+ years’ industry experience on building projects in the commercial, retail, defence, health or education sectors;
* Solid proficiency in all-round structural engineering design including post-tensioned concrete;
* Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery
* The ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
