Medical Imaging Technologist Opportunity
Broome Regional Health Campus is seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to provide high-quality medical imaging services to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols, ensuring patient safety and diagnostic accuracy.
* Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and ultrasound devices.
* Develop and implement protocols for imaging procedures, in collaboration with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
* Provide education and training to medical staff, students, and other healthcare professionals on imaging techniques and protocols.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the medical imaging department.
Working Conditions:
The successful applicant will be required to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. They will also be expected to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional patient care and service.
Selection Criteria:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Medical Imaging Technologist.
* Postgraduate qualification in Medical Imaging or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Medical Imaging Technologist in a hospital setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
