**About the Opportunity**
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Surgical Services** team as a** Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar, **where you will be responsible for:
- The Orthopaedic Registrar will contribute to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervision the Orthopaedic Registrar will demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
- The Registrar will be required to operate a Fluoroscope if licencing can be obtained.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
- Extensive clinical experience and competence in the practice of Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Minimum 4 years satisfactory experience as an Intern/Resident Medical Officer/Registrar in a recognised teaching hospital and some experience as an Advanced Trainee.
- Understanding of both the rights and responsibilities of patients and their families.
- Broad knowledge in the chosen field of orthopaedics
- The physical ability to meet position expectations and requirements
