Employment Status: Permanent, full time

Competitive Salary: Band 7 - Total Remuneration Package from $128,241 -$143,662 per annum commensurate with skills and experience, including 12% superannuation
Location: Corporate Centre in Sandringham, with the flexibility to work from home

About the Role:
Here at Bayside, we have adopted an exciting four-year capital program, and are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, driven and multi-skilled Project Planning Specialist to support the early scoping and planning of capital projects.
You will be responsible for working with Project Sponsors to develop ideas, solutions, costs and schedules on a variety of infrastructure projects including buildings, civil assets, urban streetscapes and foreshore infrastructure. This role is instrumental in setting up the organisation for successful delivery of the four year capital program.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
* Proven experience in a construction/civil project planning
* Advanced understanding of scope development ensuring schedule, budget, quality and benefit objects are met
* The ability to collaborate effectively with project sponsors and stakeholders to outline a scope that identifies solutions that are cost-effective, sustainable and innovative
* Advance knowledge of cost planning of construction project
* The confidence and skill to effectively communicate both in written and oral communications
* The ability to multi-task project planning for a large portfolio of Capital projects
Mandatory pre-employment requirements:
* Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check
* Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
* Valid Victorian Drivers Licence
