About the Role
Reporting to the
Finance Manager
, the Management Accountant will contribute to the delivery of
timely, accurate and reliable financial reporting
across all business units. This position plays an integral role in analysing results, supporting decision-making, and fostering strong business partnerships throughout the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports
* Providing analysis and commentary on business unit performance against financial plans and budgets
* Partnering with key stakeholders to deliver financial insights that support operational and strategic decisions
* Assisting branches and the finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests
* Identifying and implementing opportunities for process and system improvements
* Supporting the Finance Manager and wider team with various financial projects as required
About You
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
* 3-5 years' experience in a similar management accounting role
* CA or CPA qualification (or working towards) desirable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Clear and confident communication, with the ability to partner effectively across departments
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial reporting
* A proactive, professional and positive approach to work
* The ability to lead and motivate others in a team environment
