A day in the life of an Administration Officer may include:
* Complete administration and data entry daily
* Support program staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
* Maintain a filing system with all internal and external conversations and actions documented
* Provide customer service and handle basic enquiries
* Assist staff with day preparations, events and activities
* Assist with reception tasks as required
* Maintain a diary for planning and scheduling activities and appointments
* Provide best practice service to both internal and external stakeholders
* Undertake performance reviews, development, and training
* Monitor emails, messages, and texts to ensure timely replies
* Comply with all WHS procedures ensuring that team members including volunteers and contractors abide by all relevant health and safety procedures
* Ability to travel to remote communities in the region
Skills and Experience
* No formal qualifications are required; training will be provided
* Interest in developing skills in administration, record keeping, and customer service
* Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions
* Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, internet use) preferred
* Strong communication skills and ability to work respectfully with colleagues and community members
* A standard strength registered digital myID account prior to commencing employment

* Have a current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
* Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
* Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
* Ability to work Monday to Friday
