Internal Communications Role
We are seeking a skilled Internal Communications Specialist to join our team.
As our new specialist, you will report to the Head of Communications and work collaboratively with the communications team to maintain and expand our internal communications function.
* Develop clear and effective employee communications that promote our brand and culture.
* Partner with stakeholders to deliver critical business communications.
* Create engaging digital content for various communication channels, including videos, podcasts, graphics, and sound design.
* Manage our intranet homepage and other internal communication technology platforms.
* Implement programs fostering employee engagement through EVP with the People and Culture team.
* Provide internal communications support and guidance to strategy, planning, and change management teams.
* Assist with executing crisis communication plan as directed by Head of Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate has relevant university level qualification in communication and media arts, strong writing and communication skills, creative flair, and technical skills in Adobe Suite - particularly Photoshop, Indesign, and Premier Pro.
They should also have working knowledge of communication technology such as intranet (SharePoint), Meta Workplace, Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, and ability to prioritize and manage workloads effectively.
Desirable: At least three years' internal communications experience within a large multi-faceted organisation.
