Role
SRG has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced NDT Technician to join our Singleton, NSW-based inspection team, supporting long-term mining and heavy industry clients, on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high quality non‑destructive testing services on materials, components and structures to detect defects and verify compliance in accordance with industry standards.
Forming part of a skilled and high performing on‑site inspections team, you will have the support of a progressive and experienced management team. You will also be offered various career development opportunities to build on your current skillset.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out the application of various NDT methods during inspections
* Building relationships and corresponding with Clients
* Ensuring equipment is maintained & calibrated
* Prepare and produce high quality reports in line with company procedures and relevant industry standards
The Successful Applicant Will Ideally Have
* NDT qualifications / certifications in UT2/MT2 – ET2 highly desirable
* Minimum 3 years experience as a qualified NDT Technician
* Experience in heavy industry – Mining / Oil & Gas / Power Generation
* Current driver's license
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen
* Full Australian working rights
