About the role
Join the Burnups Furniture Court team as a full-time Retail Sales Consultant in our Airlie Beach store. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience and driving sales of our high-quality furniture and bedding products.
What you'll be doing
* Establish genuine relationships with customers, providing personalized product recommendations and exceptional service.
* Demonstrate products and assist customers with selections, orders, and delivery arrangements
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Maintain store displays and ensure the showroom is well presented to a high standard
* Support the team in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative store environment
What we're looking for
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
* Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
* A positive, hardworking attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work weekends
* Previous sales experience is desirable but not essential
