Aquatic Weed Management and Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as an Aquatic Weed Management and Maintenance Specialist. This role involves operating Council's aquatic weed harvester and marine support vessel to deliver scheduled aquatic weed maintenance activities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Operate the aquatic weed harvester and marine support vessel
* Deliver scheduled aquatic weed maintenance activities
* Maintain technical compliance, worksite safety, and budget compliance
* Communicate with relevant stakeholders during works
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate III in Maritime Operations Master up to 24 meters nearcoastal, Marine Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency, and Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD). Desirable skills and qualifications include a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent qualification, Agricultural Chemical Distribution Certificate (ACDC) accreditation, and Inspect and clean machinery for plant, animal and soil materials.
