Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our Queensland Social Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shift filling, sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates for various positions across the social service industry. The Recruitment Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their shift filling needs and provide them with the best talent available in the market.

Account Management and Recruitment

* Owning the relationship with current clients through sales calls and online and in person meetings.
* Conducting thorough vacancy qualification with clients.
* Prioritising the filling of open shifts or vacancies.
* Conducting full search and select processes (including advertising and marketing) through our current candidate pool as well as the passive candidate pool.
* Pre vetting and qualifying suitable candidates for all vacancies.
* Meeting all service level agreements, including supplying shortlists of candidates to clients within agreed time of an active role being placed.
* Placement administrative duties (including interview confirmation, new starter emails, any related recruitment checks, invoice requests to payroll.)
* Form and strengthen relationships with clients to know who they are, how they operate and better understand their hiring needs, job specifications and talent strategy.

Candidate Management

* Managing the candidate journey through the application process to successful placement.
* Resource, headhunt and source candidates using all of the tools available, and place in open rostered shifts.
* Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview and manage candidates throughout interview process from interview preparation to assisting with final offer negotiation.
* Ensuring all headhunted candidates are entered onto the CRM system in order to create a future candidate pipeline.
* Providing timely and constructive feedback to candidates during the recruitment process.
* Providing post placement feedback to candidates.
* Maintaining and managing candidate placement communication (including interview confirmation, new starter emails, rostering, extensions and end dates).
* Developing relationships with candidates to create an enduring mutually beneficial relationship with the individual and their professional network.

Business Development

* Targeting and developing new clients.
* Making cold calls to contact prospective clients.
* Securing and attending visits with new clients to gain insights into their business, recruitment process and needs, and develop relationships with contacts, ultimately with the goal to support their recruitment process.
* Contacting non active clients to develop relationships and secure further business.
* Preparing, sending and following up proposals and service agreements for clients.
* Maintaining ongoing regular contact with prospective client contacts, meeting the contact call cycles.
* Maintaining and updating systems
* Ensure all communications and relevant information is updated in the CRM.
* Maintaining any other related Tradewind systems and processes.
* Ad hoc projects as required.

Essential:

* Working adhoc out of business hours phone call requests from clients.
* Prompt and accurate shift filling.
* Working from our Gold Coast Office.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* The ability to build relationships with different people and personalities.
* The ability to handle adversity and rejection.
* Self-motivated and proactive in seeking out information, supports and resources.
* Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities.
* A natural drive to succeed in your personal goals and celebrate the success of the team.
* Excellent telephone manner and verbal and written skills.
* Experience in Microsoft Office.

Desired:

* Experience developing recruitment and/or sales strategies.
* Experience with cold outbound business development.
* Ability to create and deliver proposals to clients including negotiating pricing and terms of business.
* Familiarity with job boards, and recruitment software, databases, and management systems.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or sales related field
* Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or shift filling role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Knowledge of recruitment software and databases
* Understanding of employment laws and regulations
