The Advanced Manufacturing Manager will spearhead the development and execution of strategies to leverage technological advancements, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive performance within the Siding Products Group. Key responsibilities include aligning team activities with business objectives to achieve cost savings, measurable benefits, and strong ROI.
Core Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute advanced manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality using Industry 4.0 technologies.
* Establish automation strategies aligned with long-term business planning.
* Collaborate with plants and functions to align objectives with Industry 4.0 priorities.
* Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
* Work with IT, RPG, and IPG to benchmark and implement advancements in reliability and Industry 4.0.
* Monitor current trends and technologies for application to SPG.
About You:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, chemical, mechanical, industrial) or similar discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of professional experience leading engineering initiatives in manufacturing.
* At least 3 years of people management experience.
* Strong business acumen with ability to identify improvement opportunities for financial benefit.
* Experience with digital tools such as ERP, MES, and BI systems.
