Maintenance Manager Job Description

About the Role:
This full-time Maintenance Manager will lead our dedicated maintenance team. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and collaborate closely with our housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians across multiple properties
* Schedule preventative and reactive maintenance using our property management system
* Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment
* Run weekly toolbox meetings to ensure team alignment
* Guest & Owner Support: Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly
* Manage after-hours maintenance concerns on a shared rotating roster
* Liaise with third-party contractors for specialist tasks and ensure timely delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience leading a small team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A guest-first mindset with a professional, solution-oriented approach
* Hands-on experience with general property maintenance
* Ability to manage pressure and navigate minor conflicts
* High computer literacy (Microsoft Office, property/task management software)
* Current Police Clearance and residence near Dunsborough
