Grade 2 Occupational Therapist: TCP & Subacute
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our Transitional Care Program and Inpatient Subacute team at Alfred Health.
Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist - Grade 2 is responsible for the provision of Occupational Therapy Services within a designated clinical caseload, appropriate to their level of experience and competency. At Grade 2 level, Occupational Therapists are required to display autonomy of practice, whilst also contributing strongly to the interdisciplinary team.
About You:
* A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy is required.
* Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, and eligibility for OTA membership is mandatory.
* Clinical experience in subacute occupational therapy and knowledge of client-centred, occupational service delivery for older patients, particularly in the areas of dementia and delirium is essential.
* Demonstrated ability to evaluate and modify service delivery in accordance with evidence-based practice is necessary.
* Experience working within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation is required.
