A loving family in Hobart, Tasmania are seeking an experienced, nurturing and supportive nanny to help care for their two girls (5y old and 6 week old baby).
**The days and normal hours are - 5 days - 25 hours per week**
Monday - Friday 2pm - 7pm
Note: Full Drivers Licence required ( Own car preferred, kms and petrol to be reimbursed)
An ideal nanny will be experienced, caring and nurturing.
A nanny that is able to be proactive, can plan and engage age appropriate activities that will assist the babies development. You will need to be passionate about caring for children and be happy to work alongside Mum and help the family out with the afternoon/evening routines plus some light household chores and meal prep.
Experience working with very young babies as well as primary school age children is advantageous for this role.
The family is looking for a nanny who is patient, supportive, great communications skills, is reliable, trustworthy and can build a lovely relationship with the whole family on a long term basis..
**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Assist with picking up the eldest child from prep when required ( Mum will mostly do this).
- Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the babies development
- Assist with some light household duties ie mainly stack dishwasher and keep surfaces and main areas of the home clean and tidy.
- Family Laundry
- Meal prep and cook children’s meals/snacks
- Cook for the family (occasionally)
**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny/child care experience
- Childcare qualification (Preferred not essential)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Current Working with Children’s check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Full Drivers License and clean driving record (own car preferred - kms and petrol to be reimbursed - if required to drive).
