HR Consultant Opportunity

About the Role:
* Our HR consultant will provide expert coaching and advice to leaders on performance management, misconduct, grievances, fitness for work, and team culture.
* The successful candidate will conduct workplace investigations of varying complexity, ensuring thoroughness and objectivity.
* This role requires interpreting enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and relevant policies to inform business decisions.
* The ideal candidate will support continuous improvement of employee relations processes, policies, and procedures, driving best practices throughout the organization.
* May participate in external claims and disputes before relevant commissions, leveraging expertise to achieve favorable outcomes.
* Key responsibilities include advising on workplace behaviour and misconduct issues, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
* The HR consultant will also support fitness for work assessments and adjustments, fostering a culture of well-being and safety.
* Analyzing case data to identify trends and recommend improvements is a critical aspect of this role.
* Preparation of submissions for external claims and representation of the organization in hearings as required.
Requirements:
* Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
* Extensive HR generalist experience in medium to large organisations.
* Strong background in coaching and advising leaders across a range of HR matters.
* Skilled in identifying and resolving complex HR risks and issues.
* Experienced in interpreting industrial instruments, policies, and procedures.
* Ability to implement HR improvements aligned with business strategy.
* Willingness to travel within the state as required.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
