Join Kinetic as a Workshop Manager at our Townsville workshop and play a key role in our continued success as a leading bus service operator.
Our Fleet Services team plays a crucial role in making this happen by making sure that our vehicles remain in optimum condition through top quality maintenance and repairs.
As a Workshop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and repair for our fleet of vehicles. You'll lead a skilled team of Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, and contributing to the growth of Kinetic's Townsville operations.
You will be involved in
* Analysing and improving the workshop's performance; and making sure that things are running smoothly.
* Oversee and conduct preventative vehicle maintenance to ensure that vehicles are maintained to an efficient level and available for our operational needs.
* Oversee and undertake maintenance and repair work on engines, transmissions, rectify defects / faults in a timely manner.
The Boxes You'll Tick
* Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
* Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
* Leadership skills to motivate and facilitate work teams in the achievement of results
* Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential)
* Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
