Financial Advisory Services, Metropolitan North Region, has a temporary opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team. In this role, you'll work closely with schools to enhance their financial capabilities, ensuring effective resource management that drives improved educational outcomes for students.
The position is based in North Lakes or Nundah (to be negotiated) and is a temporary position with commencement date of 06 July 2026.
Responsibilities
* Support the development and delivery of financial management training material to schools.
* Assist with the development and communication of school accounting policies and procedures.
* Undertake analysis of the financial management practices and financial performance of schools.
* Provide financial management advice to school staff.
* Monitor the level of financial management competencies within schools.
* Provide appropriate training and development programs to enhance financial management skills.
* Work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
* Sound knowledge of contemporary financial management issues and strategies impacting schools.
* Ability to interrogate and analyse school financial management systems – Agresso and OneSchool Finance.
* Ability to deliver training programs relating to school financial management, including online formats.
* High level communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to influence customer behaviour and implement change.
* Demonstrated leadership and management skills appropriate to achieving outcomes within negotiated timeframes.
