About the Role
Drug Health Services (DHS) aims to reduce the harms associated with substance use for individuals, families and communities and to prevent drug misuse. Our Mission is to deliver evidence based and patient centred care in collaboration with other health and non-health partners to improve the health outcomes of individuals, their families and broader community. Services are provided at Canterbury, Concord Repatriation General and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals and at Canterbury, Marrickville and Redfern Health Centres. Selected programs offer services in community and via approved outreach arrangements.
In this role, you will provide senior clinical leadership and team management within the Social Work Department. You will also support the mentoring and development of staff and carries a clinical caseload.

Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Social Work services.
* Experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Experience and ability to identify opportunities and innovatively lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence based practice and research.
