We are looking for Monitoring Centre Operators, who will work closely with the Monitoring Centre Manager and National Technical Solutions Manager, and are willing to work in a team environment.
The successful candidate will have the drive and willingness to work in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Overview:
Operating in our A1 Graded Monitoring Centre.
1. Monitoring of alarm systems for both commercial and residential sites in accordance with client instructions.
2. Remote monitoring of CCTV systems.
3. Providing a consistent level of customer service.
4. Attending to a high-level volume of inbound/outbound calls.
5. Ensuring high accuracy with confidential client information and maintaining monitoring database with data entry and administration tasks.
Skills and experience:
1. Previous experience with Patriot Monitoring System is an advantage.
2. An excellent phone manner, with a polite, friendly, and positive attitude.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties.
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
6. The ability to deal with challenging customers & scenarios.
7. The ability to work as part of a team environment with a reliable and positive attitude.
8. Microsoft Office and general IT skills, along with fast typing skills.
Requirements:
1. Hold or be able to obtain a current Victorian Private Security License (Monitoring Centre Operator).
2. Be available to work on a rotating roster (Days/Nights/Weekends).
3. Ideally have your own transport.
4. Be a quick thinker, flexible with change, and a fast learner.
