Business Development Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our expanding Contract Logistics team based in Fremantle WA. This key role involves identifying and pursuing business opportunities aligned with corporate goals, managing sales pipelines, preparing and negotiating proposals, and acting as the primary contact for contract logistics sales enquiries.
The successful candidate will build and maintain strong customer relationships, contribute to tender writing, provide valuable customer feedback to operational teams, and stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver targeted sales activities, lead high-level negotiations, pricing, and contract finalisation to drive profitable deal closures.
* Maintain accurate records, manage customer interactions, and oversee onboarding to ensure excellent customer solutions and satisfaction.
* Generate, nurture, and manage a robust sales pipeline with short, medium, and long-term opportunities aligned to business strategy.
* Track and analyse KPIs, forecasts, and budgets to optimise revenue streams and support strategic sales planning.
Requirements:
* 5+ years experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development, with proven success in business development and senior-level customer management.
* Degree qualified, with additional business management training considered an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics Operating Models, including pricing and rate cards, with 5+ years focused on Contract Logistics sales development.
