About the role
We are currently looking for a Boardroom Attendant who has a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients. Joining our Sydney corporate catering team in a permanent full‐time capacity, you will work Monday to Friday with a rotating schedule offering the set hours of 8.00am – 4.30pm and 8.30am – 5.00pm. Some functions may take place after hours, so you will need to be flexible with extended working hours during the week.
In this role you will cater for a variety of client and staff events ranging from coffee catch‐ups, morning or afternoon teas, formal lunches, cocktail events and large seminar functions. You will deliver first‐class service at all times and ensure all tasks are completed correctly, efficiently and professionally while representing the Catering team.
Responsibilities
* Meeting room set up and resetting the room at the conclusion of a meeting
* Producing Barista‐made coffee and delivery of beverages for meetings
* Daily cleaning/maintenance of the coffee machine
* Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals for clients and partners
* All kitchenhand and cleaning duties as required, including packing/unpacking the dishwashers
* Replenishing stock levels and hygiene standards in the staff kitchenette
About you
You have experience in hospitality, providing excellent client service daily. Previous experience in professional service firms or corporate catering is highly regarded. You are professionally presented, friendly, have a flexible approach and take pride in what you do.
Qualifications and requirements
* A commitment to delivering outstanding professional service
* Barista experience is highly regarded
* Professionally presented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion
* Good organisational and prioritisation skills
* A team‐player attitude with demonstrated ability to work proactively and collaboratively
* Previous experience within a professional environment
* Current Food Safety and NSW RSA certifications
