$91,081 - $100,536 salary package - includes base salary ($80,246 - $88,576), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

Join TAFE NSW as a Technical Officer and play a hands-on role in shaping student success by preparing, maintaining, and demonstrating industry-standard tools, equipment, and learning environments.

In this role, you'll provide specialised technical support across the Film and Television discipline, with a particular focus on LED volume technology and virtual production environments. You'll use your technical expertise to support the safe and proper operation of equipment, track the allocation of assets to staff, students and classes, engage with vendors to keep equipment functioning, and when required, liaise with production industry stakeholders.

About You

You're a hands-on and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in providing high-quality technical support to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

* Certificate IV in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience appropriate to the role and particular trade/vocation/skills area.
* Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience of use, care and maintenance of tools, equipment, materials and techniques used in trade/vocation/skills area applicable to the role.
* Proven ability to create, modify or adapt equipment or other resources to meet particular requirements.
* Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work as a member of a team with minimal supervision in area relating to the role.

Highly Desired: You bring a strong understanding of film and television production technologies, including experience with LED volume technology.
